Associate Director Projects

On-site TSCL / Technical Operations Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for project teams across all plant locations.
  • Lead and supervise projects across multiple plants, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Manage day-to-day operations in supporting areas while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Lead plant projects with a strong focus on quality, compliance, efficiency, and business objectives.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with local and international standards.
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Initiate and supervise cost optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with the company’s vision.
  • Develop team capabilities through effective training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Drive strategic planning and project initiatives aligned with organizational goals and business vision.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, renovation, revamping, and development projects.
  • Lead equipment induction and facility improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic plant projects.

Requirements

  • 15–18 years of experience in Engineering Operations, Project Management, Facility Development, Equipment Induction, and Facility Renovation & Revamping.
  • B.E., preferably in Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management and Financial Control will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, technical writing, and interpretation skills.
  • Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and applicable industry standards.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder management capabilities.
