Associate Director Projects
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for project teams across all plant locations.
- Lead and supervise projects across multiple plants, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Manage day-to-day operations in supporting areas while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead plant projects with a strong focus on quality, compliance, efficiency, and business objectives.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with local and international standards.
- Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Initiate and supervise cost optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with the company’s vision.
- Develop team capabilities through effective training, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive strategic planning and project initiatives aligned with organizational goals and business vision.
- Oversee facility maintenance, renovation, revamping, and development projects.
- Lead equipment induction and facility improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic plant projects.
Requirements
- 15–18 years of experience in Engineering Operations, Project Management, Facility Development, Equipment Induction, and Facility Renovation & Revamping.
- B.E., preferably in Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Certification in Project Management and Financial Control will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, communication, technical writing, and interpretation skills.
- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder management capabilities.
